The worlds best parents
Happen to be mine
I am so very blessed
To be born after 9

Both are so inspiring
I need look nowhere else
If I start counting their goodness
It would never end

To bring up 10 children
Is really no joke
How they did such a wonderful job
Dont ask me folks

They married in 57
Its 57 years now
Our numbers crossed 40!
Lets all take a bow

Papa is a radical
He makes his own rules
He taught us to live free
N not to call others fools

When I was younger
I never understood him
I thought he was crazy
With his dreams n whims

He worked very hard
Never earned a bad penny
Filled our lives with his stories
Around him it was sunny

Mummy was so cheerful
Always upto something
An efficient manager
She also loved to sing

She spent money wisely
Never ran out of food
With 12 mouths to feed
She was never rude

She stitched all my clothes
And the winterwear too
Everyone admired her
A plant lover true

Took such good care of us
Despite the huge task at hand
She was always cheerful
With her life was grand

What I owe to both of them
Is more than I can explain
I am who I am becos of them
Its simple n plain

I thankyou Lord today
For making me their child
For giving them deep faith
Indeed in You they abide

I love you very dearly
The two wisest people I know
Thankyou for all that you are
To me to us n many more

Mohammad One look into his face and the only word that pops into your mind is drugs. One wouldn’t linger for long on his face with its completely blanked out expression. Waiting

An inevitable part of our lives. Waiting. Personally I dread any sort of long queues. There are very few things I would stand in line for(I am still trying to figure out which those few are!). I am sure my dislike has something to do with being the 10th of a long line of offspring! But there's usually a lot more periods of waiting in our lives apart from these. Waiting to get married. Waiting to get a job. Waiting to have a baby. Waiting for a healing. Waiting for direction from God. Waiting to meet your children. The list is unending. As someone once said patience isn't about how long you wait but your attitude while you wait. One scripture that I love is when Jesus said, 'Dont worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself'. (Mt 7:34a) In my walk with the Lord i've grown to treasure my Todays. Australia

So I landed in Australia on February 6 in the year 2015. It was summertime and I reached in the evening so the air was very pleasant and breezy. To my very pleasant surprise I was out of the airport within half an hour of landing. I had the sniffer dogs approval:) As I stepped out I saw a person who looked like my spouse gazing in my direction with a huge grin. Heck, this guy looked like he was a fresh army recruit, lean, tanned and with a crew cut!!(read high salon prices) With my ardent love for the defence forces I had no complaints and ran into his arms! A good friend had offered their car and so we drove home about an hour away. As I looked around me it didn't look too different from an Indian highway except for the high speed and variety of cars. Id had a good nod on the flight so wasn't too tired either. We reached our apartment and slowly loaded our stuff into the lift and reached our landing.
