Easter 2015


Yet another Easter Sunday
What special does it bring   
It comes every single year
When the seasons are a changing

The same solemn vigil mass
Singin my lord he died for a kingdom
Followed by coffee and wishes
And a great grand family lunch

Our Lord died three days back
The disciples a dissapointed lot
The man they wanted to enthrone
Had left them in a spot

So too in our lives when
All seems dull and stagnant
When our burdens begin to tire us
Minds and hearts are bent

Remember that The story
Didn't end in the cave   
Chin up and put your smile back
Jesus rose from the grave


By his death and resurrection
We have reason to celebrate
He led us to His Father
He gave us the gift of faith

Whether we beleive it or not
He is at work in our lives
leading us to lasting happiness
Filling us with hope so bright

From worshipping an unknown God
To a relationship thats mutual
He is the God of my unknown
The one who makes life beautiful

I dont strive for tomorrow
Nor regret about yesterday
I can calmly enjoy the present
N not think of how when where

And so as I head for some Easter feasts
N No doubt I do love good food!!;)
The real reason for my bouncing heart is
That Jesus still lives and rules!!!

Mohammad One look into his face and the only word that pops into your mind is drugs. One wouldn’t linger for long on his face with its completely blanked out expression. Waiting

An inevitable part of our lives. Waiting. Personally I dread any sort of long queues. There are very few things I would stand in line for(I am still trying to figure out which those few are!). I am sure my dislike has something to do with being the 10th of a long line of offspring! But there's usually a lot more periods of waiting in our lives apart from these. Waiting to get married. Waiting to get a job. Waiting to have a baby. Waiting for a healing. Waiting for direction from God. Waiting to meet your children. The list is unending. As someone once said patience isn't about how long you wait but your attitude while you wait. One scripture that I love is when Jesus said, 'Dont worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself'. (Mt 7:34a) In my walk with the Lord i've grown to treasure my Todays. Australia

So I landed in Australia on February 6 in the year 2015. It was summertime and I reached in the evening so the air was very pleasant and breezy. To my very pleasant surprise I was out of the airport within half an hour of landing. I had the sniffer dogs approval:) As I stepped out I saw a person who looked like my spouse gazing in my direction with a huge grin. Heck, this guy looked like he was a fresh army recruit, lean, tanned and with a crew cut!!(read high salon prices) With my ardent love for the defence forces I had no complaints and ran into his arms! A good friend had offered their car and so we drove home about an hour away. As I looked around me it didn't look too different from an Indian highway except for the high speed and variety of cars. Id had a good nod on the flight so wasn't too tired either. We reached our apartment and slowly loaded our stuff into the lift and reached our landing.
