FORGIVENESS-2013


'This one’s a disease
Spreading like never before
The worlds in its grip
Really wonder what’s in store
 
 
No one knows the reason
Why it infests the heart
And once it’s spread all over
Is hard for it to depart
 
 
Its why there are world wars
It’s why communications cease
It’s why relationships are breaking
Its why there is no peace
 
Its a cause of many a malaise
And the rise in terrorist scares
Its why depressions on the rise
And why now no one cares
 
Now what might be the cure
N who will set it right
Surely this could end
Its not too late in the night
 
a good news and a bad news
Both happen to be the same
The patient and the doctor
Have both the same name
 
If the disease has caught you
I bet you have the pill
You’ve just gotta use it
N there wont be a bill
 
Life’s too short, don’t waste it
Every day is precious gold
You may not have another
Day or heart to hold
 
So if unforgiveness is the diagnosis
Its time you set yourself free
Its not worth the prison you’re in
Give God the reins and let it be
 
Smile at the one who hurt you
And to that add an act of love
You’ll soon find yourself flying
Beyond your perception n above'

Mohammad One look into his face and the only word that pops into your mind is drugs. One wouldn’t linger for long on his face with its completely blanked out expression. Waiting

An inevitable part of our lives. Waiting. Personally I dread any sort of long queues. There are very few things I would stand in line for(I am still trying to figure out which those few are!). I am sure my dislike has something to do with being the 10th of a long line of offspring! But there's usually a lot more periods of waiting in our lives apart from these. Waiting to get married. Waiting to get a job. Waiting to have a baby. Waiting for a healing. Waiting for direction from God. Waiting to meet your children. The list is unending. As someone once said patience isn't about how long you wait but your attitude while you wait. One scripture that I love is when Jesus said, 'Dont worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself'. (Mt 7:34a) In my walk with the Lord i've grown to treasure my Todays. Australia

So I landed in Australia on February 6 in the year 2015. It was summertime and I reached in the evening so the air was very pleasant and breezy. To my very pleasant surprise I was out of the airport within half an hour of landing. I had the sniffer dogs approval:) As I stepped out I saw a person who looked like my spouse gazing in my direction with a huge grin. Heck, this guy looked like he was a fresh army recruit, lean, tanned and with a crew cut!!(read high salon prices) With my ardent love for the defence forces I had no complaints and ran into his arms! A good friend had offered their car and so we drove home about an hour away. As I looked around me it didn't look too different from an Indian highway except for the high speed and variety of cars. Id had a good nod on the flight so wasn't too tired either. We reached our apartment and slowly loaded our stuff into the lift and reached our landing.
