Path to Happiness-2012


Everyone wants to be happy          
To be at peace forever          
Not all are able to find the path though
To be sad n depressed never

Now is it really possible
To always brandish a smile
I mean a genuine toothy one
When around u theres a turmoil

Lifes a lot about our choices
Who or what we desire to be
in those split second moments
To be calm or mad n angry         

U wont get joy on a platter
It will take some effort too
Wallowing in ur sorrows
Aint the thing to do

So when negativity comes attacking
Firm up n take a stand
Dont let ur thots take control of u
But turn them into sand

Now how do u do this is the question
Its quite simple my friend
In the mighty name of Jesus
Every mountain n tower will bend

So no more of being a sissy               
Take responsibility for ur life    
You have all you need in the Spirit
Love peace joy my Fathers child!!
                                                       
But what makes this a lot more easier
Is time spent with The Light
Pore over His Love n d Living Word
And it will not be such a fight!

Mohammad One look into his face and the only word that pops into your mind is drugs. One wouldn’t linger for long on his face with its completely blanked out expression. Waiting

An inevitable part of our lives. Waiting. Personally I dread any sort of long queues. There are very few things I would stand in line for(I am still trying to figure out which those few are!). I am sure my dislike has something to do with being the 10th of a long line of offspring! But there's usually a lot more periods of waiting in our lives apart from these. Waiting to get married. Waiting to get a job. Waiting to have a baby. Waiting for a healing. Waiting for direction from God. Waiting to meet your children. The list is unending. As someone once said patience isn't about how long you wait but your attitude while you wait. One scripture that I love is when Jesus said, 'Dont worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself'. (Mt 7:34a) In my walk with the Lord i've grown to treasure my Todays. Australia

So I landed in Australia on February 6 in the year 2015. It was summertime and I reached in the evening so the air was very pleasant and breezy. To my very pleasant surprise I was out of the airport within half an hour of landing. I had the sniffer dogs approval:) As I stepped out I saw a person who looked like my spouse gazing in my direction with a huge grin. Heck, this guy looked like he was a fresh army recruit, lean, tanned and with a crew cut!!(read high salon prices) With my ardent love for the defence forces I had no complaints and ran into his arms! A good friend had offered their car and so we drove home about an hour away. As I looked around me it didn't look too different from an Indian highway except for the high speed and variety of cars. Id had a good nod on the flight so wasn't too tired either. We reached our apartment and slowly loaded our stuff into the lift and reached our landing.
