Glint in the eye glowing skin
Curiosity in his every step
Heart in his hands head on the ground
A courageous man you bet

He soars he flies he walks
He may pause but he never stops
He blinks he squints he winks
He sleeps but he misses nothing

He is intelligent and wise
His hearts a precious prize
Ideas a steady flow from his brain
Plans that never fade or wane

He doesn’t chase after money
Neither will he choose fame
Diligence and integrity a priority
He is in for the long game

A loving adoring husband
A faithful caring friend
A fiercely protective father
Willing to bend and amend

5 decades have passed
So much already achieved
Through the ups and downs
He bursts forth in speed

Not so slow to forget the goal
Not too fast to miss the scene
May you dream and breathe and smile
A new spring bright fresh and green

Mohammad One look into his face and the only word that pops into your mind is drugs. One wouldn’t linger for long on his face with its completely blanked out expression. Except for his open eyes he seems fast asleep. I think in my mind whether the effect of the drug on his brain can be reversed at all and strongly doubt it. Waiting

An inevitable part of our lives. Waiting. Personally I dread any sort of long queues. There are very few things I would stand in line for(I am still trying to figure out which those few are!). I am sure my dislike has something to do with being the 10th of a long line of offspring! But there's usually a lot more periods of waiting in our lives apart from these. Waiting to get married. Waiting to get a job. Waiting to have a baby. Waiting for a healing. Waiting for direction from God. Waiting to meet your children. The list is unending. As someone once said patience isn't about how long you wait but your attitude while you wait. One scripture that I love is when Jesus said, 'Dont worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself'. (Mt 7:34a) In my walk with the Lord i've grown to treasure my Todays. Australia

So I landed in Australia on February 6 in the year 2015. It was summertime and I reached in the evening so the air was very pleasant and breezy. To my very pleasant surprise I was out of the airport within half an hour of landing. I had the sniffer dogs approval:) As I stepped out I saw a person who looked like my spouse gazing in my direction with a huge grin. Heck, this guy looked like he was a fresh army recruit, lean, tanned and with a crew cut!!(read high salon prices) With my ardent love for the defence forces I had no complaints and ran into his arms! A good friend had offered their car and so we drove home about an hour away. As I looked around me it didn't look too different from an Indian highway except for the high speed and variety of cars. Id had a good nod on the flight so wasn't too tired either. We reached our apartment and slowly loaded our stuff into the lift and reached our landing.
